This part of Pinellas Park has a storied history

Park Junction will be built directly adjacent to historic Park Station, home of the Pinellas Park Chamber of Commerce. Park Station is a beautiful reproduction of an old-time train station and showcases historical photographs and antiques on the two floors of the foyer.
The famous caboose showcased outside of Park Station was obtained in March 2006 with the help of Jim Sebesta, former Florida Senator. For many years, it was located in the Florida panhandle where it served as lodging for entertainers for a local restaurant.
